Igor Rusu has been appointed Director General of RosMorPort FSUE in the result of the competition held by the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport on June 4, 2009, the Agency reports.
By the Agency’s order N 52/К-МРФ dated June 04, 2009 Igor Rusu takes the position of RosMorPort FSUE Director General from June 5, 2009.
Igor Rusu was born in 1964. He graduated from Admiral Makarov Leningrad HigherNaval Engineering School in 1989, hydrographic specialization.
Worked in the system of maritime transport in 1991-1997. In 1997-1999 – marketing and commercial director of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg.
In 1999-2000 – executive director of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg. 2000-2003 Director General of SeaPort of Saint Petersburg. 2003-2004 Director General of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg and President of National Container Company. 2004-2005 - President of National Container Company. December2005-2007 – Director General of Company Ust-Luga.
From 2008 – deputy head of the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport, RF Transport Ministry. From April 2009 – deputy Director General of RosMorPort FSUE. By the order of the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport N31/к-мрф dated April 15, 2009, Igor Rusu was appointed acting Director General of RosMorPort FSUE.
Awarded with a medal “300th anniversary of the Russian Fleet”.
