Eitzen Chemical ASA announced yesterday that it has entered into agreements to sell four vessels for a total of USD 27 mill. The vessels are Siteam Anatas - 40,200 dwt, built 1985, Sichem Anne 9,200 dwt, built 1997, Sichem Princess Marie Chantal - 7,930 dwt, built 2003 and Sichem Provence - 8,700 dwt, built 1996. The company expects to record a loss from the above transactions of approximately USD 3 mill. The Company also reported that it has concluded the sale through novation of three newbuildings from Brodotrogir in Croatia to Laurin Maritime, previously announced.
