OSK to include 13 to 20 enterprises of Southern Federal District – OSK representative

The United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) plans to additionally include 13 to 20 enterprises of the Southern Federal District, PortNews reporter cites Valery Venkov, head of OSK Department for Advanced Development, as telling journalists. According to OSK official, there are 3 alternatives: the first on is to include 13 enterprises, the second – 16 enterprises, the third one – 20 enterprises. The issue is being coordinated while a decision has already been taken to transfer to OSK state-owned shareholdings of Lotos (Astrakhan), Moscow, Tuapse and Novorossiysk shipyards as well as K. Marks shipyard and a number of smaller enterprises.

Besides, Valery Venkov said Western Center of Shipbuilding plans to create facilities to build vessels for shelf development.
