Russian Navy will place an order for the frigate construction at Severnaya Verf plant, a part of United Industrial Corporation in 2009, Vladimir Vysocky, Russian Navy commander-in-chief announced.
At present three corvettes 20380, frigates 22350 and special communication vessel 18280 are being built at Severnaya Verf plant. Also the repair of the Large Antisubmarine Ship Vice-admiral Kulakov of the North fleet. Severnaya Verf plant is also implementing foreign trade contract for the repair and modernization of 4 corvettes 1159T and 1234E for Algerian Navy.
