DB Schenker wins five-year Wilhelmsen deal

DB Schenker has won a five-year contract to provide logistics services for ship spares to Wilhelmsen Ship Management.
The contract covers global warehousing, handling and transportation of the spares to vessels under Wilhelmsen Ship Management.
A direct IT integration between WSM’s procurement system and DB Schenker is also part of the contract.Wilhelmsen Ship Management’s head of procurement, Knut Persson, said: “With the newly developed system integration, and all relevant shipping information provided across the loop, we have completed the procurement process.”
