Russia and Poland sign agreement on navigation in Kaliningrad (Visla) Bay

An Agreement on navigation in Kaliningrad (Visla) Bay was signed between RF and Poland Governments on September 1 with participation of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, journalists learnt at the press conference in Gdansk. 

According to RF Transport Ministry’s press center, a meeting has been held today in Gdansk (Poland) between co-chairmen of Russo-Polish Intergovernmental Committee, RF Transport Minister Igor Levitin and Polish Minister of Infrastructure Tsezary Grabarchik.

It has been noted that the draft agreement between the two Governments on cooperation in the Baltic Sea pollution prevention is nearing completion.

Besides, RF Transport Ministry and Polish Ministry of Infrastructure are developing intergovernmental agreements in sea transport and railway communication.
