RF Government approves limits of port Primorsk (Leningrad region)

RF Government has approved the limits of seaport Primorsk (Leningrad region) by the decree No 1244-р signed on August 28, 2009.
Commercial seaport Primorsk was put into operation on December 27, 2001 as the final stage of the first phase of Baltic Pipeline System (BPS) aimed at oil transportation from Timano-Pechersk and West-Siberian oil-and-gas provinces as well as from Kazakhstan. Primorsk is the largest port in the North-West region of Russia to export crude and oil products. In 2008, 75.58 million tonnes of oil cargo was exported via the port of Primorsk.
