In January-August, 2009, oil export via port Primorsk increased by 1%, year-on-year, to 49.559.3 million tonnes, PortNews IAA learnt from Commercial Seaport Primorsk LLC.
Primorsk is the largest port in the North-West region of Russia to export crude and oil products. In 2008, 75.58 million tonnes of oil cargo was exported via the port of Primorsk.
