  Viking Supply Ships enters into new contract for the Ice-breaking AHTS “Vidar Viking”

  

  The final option ofthe existing contract for the vessel Vidar Viking, which secures work untill 1stDecember 2015 has been exercised, the company said in its press release.

  Further, Viking Supply Ships has entered into a new contract with an oil and gas company for “Vidar Viking” commencing 2nd December 2015 in direct continuation of present contract. The duration of the new contract is for 8 months firm, plus options to extend the contract with a total of 6 months.

  The contract value for the new contract including options is around USD 45 million.
