Russian Gov't OKs rate regulation rules for water-borne transport between the ports of Crimea and Krasnodar Krai
The Russian Government has approved in its Order dated July 16, 2015 (№707) the rules of state regulation of prices for the carriage of passengers, baggage, vehicles and trains on vessels between the ports of the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory, effective as of September 1, 2015, the government's official website said.
Government regulation rules were prepared and submitted by the Federal Tariff Service of Russia in order to implement the Federal Law, April 20, 2015 (№86-FZ) "On state regulation of prices (tariffs) for services for transportation of passengers, baggage, motor vehicles, railway rolling stock by the vessels ensuring communication between the sea ports of the Republic Crimea, the federal city of Sevastopol and seaports of Krasnodar Krai, and associated with transportation additional services."
The signed decree approves the rules of state regulation of rates for transportation and other services provided on ferry lines linking the sea ports of the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar region.
In addition, the order identified the legal basis of state regulation of tariffs for the transportation and related additional services, as well as the basis of pricing for these services.
