AGCT optimizes port operations with BI

Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT), an ICTSI Group company, is the largest port and container terminal in Croatia, accommodating deep-sea vessels serving Central and Southeast Europe. It is also a terminal that has consistently remained on the leading edge of innovation and technology adoption among container terminals worldwide.
In early 2012, AGCT implemented the Navis N4 terminal operating system (TOS) as part of an extensive $30M EUR development plan, which included the transition from Wi-Fi to 3G mobile technologies in the field. In just a short time following the N4 go-live, AGCT experienced significant improvements in crane productivity, idle truck times, and even energy usage, and as a result, achieved higher port efficiency and a reduction in overall operating costs.
