Cleve & Zonen starts direct groupage service to Panama

The Rotterdam freight forwarder Cleve & Zonen is to start a fourteen day direct groupage service to Panama at the end of this month, the company said in its press release.
The sailing time to the port of Manzanillo is 15 days. The groupage containers will be unloaded in the warehouse of Cleve’s agent in the Colon Free Zone. There will also be transit options to such destinations as Panama City, Balboa and Christobal in Panama and various islands in the Caribbean. The freight forwarder expects that this service will enable it to offer shorter sailing times and avoid extra costs, such as customs charges for the United States. Cleve already offers direct groupage services to the Antilles, Port of Spain, Costa Rica and Mexico, among other places.
