On September 16, 2015, the Novorossiysk new diesel submarine of the Black Sea Fleet successfully passed through the Straits of Bosphorus Dardanelles and entered the Black Sea, press center of RF Defence Minisry says.
Novorossiysk is the first 636.3 project submarine built specially for the Black Sea Fleet. This is the third generation submarine, which are supposed to be the most silent.
In few days, the submarine will arrive in Novorossiysk naval base.
