Ban on ordering ships from foreign shipyards to be considered by RF Govt Commission on Import Substitution
RF Ministry of Industry and Trade is drafting RF Government Decree to ban ordering ships and marine facilities from foreign shipyards if they can be built in Russia, said Maxim Kochetkov, Director of Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Facilities Department at RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, in his report at the meeting of “Industry and Technologies Development” group held on October 7, 2015 within the framework of the State Commission on Arctic Development .
The draft document is to be considered by the Government Commission on Import Substitution.
