In the course of the working trip to Saint Petersburg, Deputy Minister of Defence Yuri Borisov inspected the implementation of the State Defence Order at the “Severnaya Verf” shipyard, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
He held a meeting with the chiefs of shipbuilding plants of the north-west of Russia summing up the results of his working trip.
The questions of fulfillment of the current contracts by the enterprises of the Leningrad and Kaliningrad Regions as well as the prospects of signing new ones were discussed.
At the present time, the “Severnaya Verf” shipyard is building frigates of project 22350 – Admiral Kasatonov, Admiral Golovko and Admiral Isakov, corvettes of project 20385 – Gremyaschy and Provorny as well as auxiliary vessels.
