Kremlin says Vladimir Putin has signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 28 of the Russian Federation Water Code.
The Federal Law amends the Water Code by adding the Crimean watershed district to the list of watershed districts that constitute the main management unit for water use and protection purposes.
The amendment aims to apply the basin approach to water relations management in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, which will make it possible to carry out water resource use, protection and regeneration measures more effectively.
