Cruise ship Pacific Princess made her inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg
On June 21st, cruise ship Pacific Princess operated by Princess Cruises made her inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg. The company was founded in 1965. It operates 17 ships fleet.
Pacific Princess was built in 1999, refurbished in June 2017. It has 11 decks, 338 cabins, 181 m length and capacity of carrying 688 passengers on board. The crew is 375 persons. The ship offers individual service, some exclusive restaurants: The American "Sterling Steakhouse" and the Italian "Sabatini's", a buffet, seven bars, golf simulator, SPA complex, cabaret theater and casino.
This cruise ship that sails under Bermuda flag has left Port of Dover (England) on July 15th 2017 for a fourteen-day cruise and has already called port of Copenhagen (Denmark), Riga (Latvia) and Tallinn (Estonia). After St. Petersburg it will also call the ports of Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Kiel (Germany), Amsterdam (Holland) and then come back to port of departure on July 29th.
Traditionally a welcome plaque ceremony was arranged on board the vessel.
