Seaports of Russia’s Azov Sea Basin handled 23.16 million tonnes of cargo in winter 2017-2018, up 51.6% Y-o-Y

Seaports of Russia’s Azov Sea Basin handled 23.16 million tonnes of cargo in winter season of 2017-2018, up 51.6%, says Azov Sea Ports Administration.

In the reporting period grain transshipment grew over 2-fold including 574,000 tonnes handled at the port of Taganrog (up 2.4 times), 1.609 million tonnes handled at Rostov-on-Don (+81%), 1.435 million tonnes handled in Azov (+71.5%), 512,000 tonnes – in Yeisk (+59%), 257,000 tonnes – in Temryuk (up 3.2 times), 2.499 million tonnes – in Kavkaz (up 3.5 times).
