Petersburg Oil Terminal puts into operation its emergency response team

Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT, Big Port St. Petersburg) has obtained a certificate of attestation for its volunteer emergency response team confirming the right of responding to oil spills in internal sea waters and territorial sea of the Russian Federation, says press center of the company.

The certificate is valid for 3 years.

The team numbers 20 specially trained POT employees. The equipment includes two boom-laying boats, Ametist and topaz, oil water collecting boat Eco-Balt and tugboat Atlas, booms of permanent floatation , etc.

Petersburg Oil Terminal offers hi-tech acceptance and storage of oil products delivered by railways, rivers and roads as well as transshipment of oil products onto sea going ships.
