Arkhangelsk Seaport has reduced the transhipment of exported oil products to 54.1 thousand tons
Arkhangelsk Seaport reduced the transhipment of exported oil products by 5.49 times in January-March 2006 comparing to a corresponding period of 2005 to 54.1 thousand tons, according to PRIME-TASS referring to Administrations of the port. The total amount of transhipment of exported cargoes was reduced by 2.04 times to 275.5 thousand tons in January-March, including transhipment of timber cargoes - by 19.1 % to 121.8 thousand tons, of ISO containers - by1.67 times to 7.8 thousand tons, other general tons - by 9.2 % to 91.9 thousand tons. Import of cargoes has grown 2.66 times as much to 51.2 thousand tons, including import of ISO containers, which was reduced by 1.1 % to 18.1 thousand tons, of other general cargoes - has increased 36.7 times as much to 33.1 thousand tons. The total amount of cabotage has increased by 1.8 % to 718 thousand tons. Freight turnover of the port was reduced by 18.8 % to 1.044 million tons in January-March 2006 comparing to a corresponding period of 2005, vessel turnover - by 6.1 % to 306 vessels.
