OOCL Kuala Lumpur to be deployed on EUM service

OOCL has recently christened the sixth newbuild in a series of eight 5,888-TEU vessels built by the Imabari Shipbuilding Group at the Koyo Dockyard in Japan.
The new containership was named the OOCL Kuala Lumpur, and will be deployed on the Asia-Europe westbound and Europe-Asia eastbound Loop (EUM) that is operated by shipping lines participating in the Grand Alliance.
The port rotation for the OOCL Kuala Lumpur on the EUM service will be: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Damietta, Genoa, Barcelona, Fos Sur Mer, Damietta, Singapore, Hong Kong, and back to Shanghai on a 49-day round trip.
