TransContainer investment into the company’s development is to total about RUR 5 billion in 2007

In 2007, RZD OJSC subsidiary TransContainer OJSC will invest about RUR 5 billion into its development, RZD-Partner reports. The investment is to be made into purchase of new rolling stock units, handling equipment and trucks for container transportation as well as for reconstruction and extension of container terminals. TransContainer experts say loading of large-capacity containers will grow by 8% in 2007 while working efficiency is to increase by at least 10.5%.
