Zaliv shipyard (Kerch, Ukraine) is fully booked till fall 2008

OJSC Shipbuilding Yard “Zaliv” (Kerch, Crimea, Ukraine) is fully booked with orders till autumn 2008. According to the yard’s press center, the series of 15,000-dwt chemical tankers is under construction for Norwegian-based AKER, as well as a series of container carriers for DAMEN. The yard’s strategic task is a stage-by-stage transfer from construction of partially fitted hulls for West-European yards to fully-fitted vessels according to orders of ship owners.

A number of negotiations with West-European customers are in progress today.

 

OJSC Shipbuilding Yard “Zaliv”, part of  AvtoKrAz Holding Company, is one of the leading shipbuilding yards of the East Europe. The yard boasts extensive production experience and quality traditions. The year of 2006 was one of the most successful years for Zaliv: its output grew to 125 million gryvnias (growth rates - 227%).
