Agility acquires WTS and Global Express Line
Agility (formerly PWC Logistics) has agreed to purchase WTS of Houston and its sister company, World Transportation Services (Global Express Line).
Both based in Houston, WTS is a global logistics company and Global Express Line is an NVOCC. Both companies have been privately owned since WTS' founding in 1980 and Global's 1982 incorporation.
Following the acquisition, WTS and Global will continue to operate under the current management under the Agility enterprise umbrella.
Agility Project Logistics president Gregory Rusovich said that the acquisition of WTS further solidifies the company’s project logistics operations, particularly in the global energy sector.
This acquisition follows a month after Agility announced that it has acquired LEP International and AFS Projects & Logistics.
