ProLogis acquires new facilities in Southern California

ProLogis has acquired two adjacent distribution centres totalling 855,000 sq.ft in Southern California's Inland Empire.
The first was built in 2001, and is 741,500 sq.ft; the second was built in 2005 and totals 113,400 sq.ft. Both are 100% leased under long-term customer agreements.
“The Inland Empire remains one of North America's most vital distribution markets, characterised by solid demand and an increasingly scarce supply of land and bulk warehouse space, particularly in the western submarket,” said Pat Cavanagh, ProLogis senior vice president & regional director of capital deployment.
ProLogis has also announced a new multi-year lease agreement for a recently acquired 700,000 sq.ft distribution centre in the city of Redlands. The facility is located at ProLogis Park Redlands, a 1.8 million sq.ft distribution park east of Ontario International Airport.
ProLogis is the largest owner of industrial distribution space in the Inland Empire, with 73 facilities totalling more than 27 million square feet operational or under development.
