Throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal up 4.22% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In the first quarter of 2007, container turnover of Vladivostok Container Terminal LLC (VCT) totaled 35 377 TEU (4.22%, year-on-year), the company’s press center reports. In March 2007, VCT handled 12 400  TEU (+2.11%, year-on-year) including 4 336 TEU of export and 4 246 TEU of import. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo amounted to 3 818 TEU. Loaded/empty containers ratio was 61.92 % against 38.08 % correspondingly.
