Throughput of Taganrog Commercial Seaport up 69.7% in Q1 07, y-o-y
In January-March 2007 Taganrog Commercial Seaport handled 462.1 thou tons of cargo (69.7%, year-on-year), PortNews IAA learnt from the company. Transshipment of oil cargo amounted to 54.2166.7 thou tons (-48.2%, year-on-year), transshipment of coal and coke grew 2.7 times to 137.8 thou tons, timber - 30.6 thou tons (+34.8%). The company’s container turnover increased 3.7-fold to 22 thou tons. Transshipment of ore decreased 2.4-fold to 8.6 thou tons. Transshipment of metal totaled 166.7 thou tons (-48.2%).
