Free Economic zone started operation on April 6-th. The First logistic center, called Kaunas Terminal started operating at that territory.
YIT Kausta company invested $ 19.382 mln in the Kaunas Terminal preject. The square of the terminal is three hectares. Genesta Property Trust acquired Kaunas Terminal in December 2006. Nowadays square of the free economic zone is 58.5 hectares. $ 34.887 mln was invested in it. In particular, private investments made $ 31.011 mln.
