Throughput of Mariupol Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) up 12% in March 07, y-o-y

In March 2007, Mariupol State Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) increased it throughput by 12%, year-on-year, – to 1.382 million tons, the port’s press center reports according to RBC-Ukraine. The port specializes mainly on transshipment of metal, coal, clay, etc. In 2006, the port handled 1.58 million tons of cargo (+7.1%, year-on-year), while its net profit grew by 23.8% to 86 million gryvnias.
