Russia increases crude exports

Russia's crude oil exports to countries outside the CIS reached 35.6m tonnes in January-February 2007, which is 6.3 percent more than in the same period a year earlier, the Russian Federal Customs Service said in a statement according to RBC. The average contractual price of crude oil stood at $374.6 per tonne. Among other things, supplies of refined oil product to countries outside the CIS remained unchanged in January-February 2007 compared to the first two months of 2006, while exports of natural gas fell 20.9 percent.
