Throughput of the port of Sillamae totals 453.7 thou tons in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March 2007 throughput of the port of Sillamae (Estonia) amounted to 453.7 thou tons, RZD-Partner reports. Over the reported period the port handled 259.8 thou tons of oil products, 44.5 thou tons of general cargo, З62.91 thou tons of liquid chemicals, 28.21 thou tons of shale oil, 55.682 thou tons of ro-ro cargo. In January-March the port serviced 3532 of passengers.

In 2006 the port handled 669.61 thou tons of cargo though it started operation in the middle of the year.
