Throughput of the port of Ventspils made 7.816 mln tons in quarter one 2007 (+7.2% year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports.
In particular, 4.78 mln tons of liquid bulks (+ 3.9% year-on-year); 2.41 mln tons of bulk cargo (+14.2%) and 626 thousand tons of general cargoes (+ 7.9%) was handled.
29.1 mln tons was handled at the port in 2006. That is 0.8 mln tons less than in 2005.
