Throughput of Tuapse Commercial Seaport down 8% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March 2007 throughput of Tuapse Commercial Seaport totaled 4.789 million tons (-8%, year-on-year), the company’s press center reports. Over the reported period the port handled 1.672 million tons of dry cargo (-0.77%, year-on-year)and 3.117 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (-11.6%). In March the port handled 1.743 million tons of cargo including 725 thou tons of dry cargo (44% fall on coal, 32% - slabs, 15% - sugar, 9% - grain).
