Russian imports from non-CIS countries up 50% in Q1 - FTS
Russia increased imports of goods from non-CIS countries 50.6% year-on-year to $30.4 billion by value in the first quarter of 2006, the Federal Customs Service (FTS) said citing preliminary data, Interfax reports.
Growth rates in Russian imports continue to rise, the FTS said. Imports grew 45.2% in 2006 and 48.3% in January-February 2007.
Imports from non-CIS countries totaled $12.2 billion in March 2007, up 45.1% from March 2006 and 19.1% from February 2007.
