Throughput of the port of Kotka (Finland) up 7.3% in Q1 07, y-o-y

In January-March, throughput of the port of Kotka (Finland) grew by 7.3% to 2 530.5 thou tons, Lesprom.ru reports. Export of sawn timber via the port of Kotka increased by 22.5% to 218.1 thou tons, year-on-year. Export of other timber cargo totaled 17.2 thou tons (6.1-fold growth), cellulose – 176.6 thou tons (-12.7%). Export of paper and cardboard decreased by 1.8 to 785.8 thou tons).
