Russia to revise transit tariffs on foreign products
Russia is prepared to even out tariffs on the transit of Russian and foreign products through its territory, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Naryshkin said at the meeting of the governmental commission on economic integration Thursday, RBC reports. He pointed out that the matter of railroad tariffs was one of the major issues in Russia's talks on its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Naryshkin added that Russia's European partners had to take into account the fact that Moscow would need some time to make the necessary changes in tariffs.
