Baltic Oil Terminal to build new oil terminal at the mouth of Daugava river
In 2008, Baltic Oil Terminal plans to build an oil terminal at the mouth of Daugava river, BNS reports according to RZD-Partner. The terminal’s planned capacity is to be 10 million tons per year. Investments are to total about $100-$170 million. Dark and light oil products as well as oil delivered by railway will come from Russia and Byelorussia and further transported to Europe. The capacity of terminal’s tanks is 368.5 cubic meters.
Baltic Oil Terminal is owned by Latvian-based fuel company Dinaz.
