China crane firm wins Maersk $200m order

Danish shipping giant A P Moller-Maersk Group has signed a framework agreement with Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery for the purchase of 20 quayside container cranes and 30 rubber-tyred gantry cranes valued at nearly US$200 million over five years.
According to the agreement, ports operating under A.P. Moller-Maersk will continue to be supplied with reasonably priced port machineries by Shanghai Zhenhua while the latter will receive around $300 million of orders each year from A.P. Moller-Maersk.
Shanghai Zhenhua is a leading container crane manufacturer with products in use at 54 countries and regions, at more than 120 terminals. The company has a significant share of the global container crane market.
