Oil export duty may increase to about $200 per tonne from June 1 - Minfin
The export duty on oil may increase from June 1 to about $200 per tonne, Alexander Sakovich, deputy director of the Finance Ministry's customs department, Interfax reports.
He said that the average price for Russian oil on European markets in the monitoring period from March 1 to April 24 was $60.91 per barrel. If the price of oil is $62 per barrel for the last four days of trading, the duty will exceed $200 per tonne. With an average oil price for that period of $61.8 per barrel, the duty will not reach $200.
He also said that the export duty on light produces might amount to about $148 per tonne from June 1, and for dark products - about $79 per tonne, up from $117.7 and $63.4 at the moment.
