Oil production in RF up 4.2% in Q1 07, y-o-y
In January-March 2007, production of oil and gas condensate grew by 4.2%, year-on-year, RBC reports with reference to press center of the Ministry of Industry and Energy. In March, daily production of oil decreased to 1347.1 thou tons/day against 1347.5 thou tons/day in January 2007. The highest volumes were produced by LUKOIL, Rosneft, TNK-BP Holding, Surgutneftegaz, Gazprom Neft.
Oil export to non-CIS countries totaled 54.54 million tons (+6% against January-March 2006). Export to CIS countries amounted to 8.17 million tons (-16.5%). In 2006, production of oil and gas condensate grew by 2.1%, year-on-year – to 480 million tons. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Industry and Energy oil production will total 490 million tons in 2007 (+2.08%, year-on-year).
