Baltic Shipyard to increase its portfolio of orders by 40 percent this year

According to the press-service of the joint-stock company the portfolio of orders in 2007 will reach 7 billion rubles. As of today the specific share of mechanical engineering in the volume of orders makes 1 billion 300 million rubles. The rest is shipbuilding. The shipyard plans to get new order of the ice class supply vessels and holds talks with the Norwegians on making a research vessel. In May Baltic shipyard will put in the water a new diesel engine-electric ice breaker "Moscow" built under the order of "Rosmorport".
