Throughput of the port of Tallinn up 9.5% in Jan-May, 07, y-o-y

In January-May 2007, AS Tallinna Sadam (port of Tallinn, Estonia) handled 18.709 million tons of cargo (+9.5%, year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports. Transshipment of oil products totaled 11.019 million tons (+5%). In May the port handled 1.9 tons of oil products (-30%, year-on-year). Handling of loose dry cargo amounted to 5.258 tons (+29.5%). Passenger transportation in January-May amounted to 2.189 million (-2.7%).  In May the port handled 3.336 million tons of cargo.
