Throughput of Petersburg Oil Terminal grew to 4.6 million tons in Jan-May, 07, y-o-y

In January-May 2007, Petersburg Oil Terminal CJSC increased transshipment by 400 thou tons, year-on-year, to 4.6 million tons, POT’s press center reports. Transshipment of dark oil products amounted to 3.1 million tons (+300 thou tons). In May the terminal handled 1,093 tons of oil products (+118 thou tons) including 776 tons of heavy fuel oil (+109 thou tons).
Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT) is the largest stevedoring company of St. Petersburg port. It specializes in export transshipment of heavy fuel oil and diesel fuel. In 2006, the terminal’s cargo turnover totaled 10.6 million tons.
