Gazprom Neft's net profit under US GAAP rose by 31% to $3.661 bln in 2006

Gazprom Neft's net profit under US GAAP rose by 31% to $3.661 bln in 2006 from $2.805 bln rub in 2005, the company's report reads according to AK&M.
Company's revenues rose by 38% to $20.172 bln from $14.585 bln, products' prime cost - to $15.806 bln from $11.543 bln.
EBITDA rose by 27% to $5.168 bln in relation to $4.061 bln in 2005.
Operational profit rose to $4.366 bln from $3.042 bln. Pretax profit made $4.854 bln vs. $3.866 in the previous year.

Company's money assets made $1.335 bln by the end if 2006 that is 4.4 times more then at the end of 2005 ($305 mil).
Gazprom Neft is one of the largest oil companies in Russia. Its major shareholder is Gazprom who in October 2005 purchased 72.66% of the Company's shares for $13.079 bn, and thus increased its share to 75.68%. In 2006 Gazprom Neft lowered its consolidated oil production by 1.7% to 44.4 million tons.
Gazprom Neft's net profit under RAS rose by 47% to 62.829 bln rub in 2006 from 42.489 bln rub. Revenues rose by 37% to 374.776 from 273.086 bln rub.
