Archmortorgport handled 508.7 thd tons of different types in Jan-May

Commercial Seaport of Archangelsk OJSC handled 508.7 thd tons of different types in Jan-May 2007, that is 4.4% more then in the same period of previous year the company's announcement states according to AK&M.
The handling of cargos, not connected with the sea cargo turnover decreased by 19.2% to 28.2 thd tons, export transshipment decreased 32.1% to 162.5 thd tons, cabotage rose by 35.5% to 204.7 thd tons, import transshipment rose by 1.8 times to 113.1 thd tons.
Commercial Seaport of Archangelsk is a multiple-discipline trading sea port, specializes on general cargoes, cellulose, cardboard, containers, wood, metal, fertilizers, heavy weight equipment, bulk cargos handling.
Archmortorgport's authorized capital stock makes 125.318 thd rub. Port's main shareholders are Norilsky Nickel (53.5%) Rosimushestvo (20%), Sevmorparokhodstvo OJSC (19.7%).
Archmortorgport increased handling 8.4% to 1.477 mil tons in 2006.
Net profit of Archangelsk Commercial Seaport under RAS made 18.9 mil rub in 2006 that is 25.7% more then in 2005. Company's revenues rose by 16.9% to 601.1 mil rub. Gross profit made 121.1 mil rub. Pretax loss increased 25.7% times to 28.8 mil rub.
