The shareholders of North-West Steamship Line OJSC decided to pay dividends for 2006 in the amount of 14.4 mil rub at 1.5 rub per common share, said in the company's announcement.
In 2005 the company paid 9.6 mil rub to its shareholders at 1 rub per share, so the dividends rose 1.5 fold in relation to the previous year.
The dividends are planed to be paid by cash assets in no later then 2 months since the corresponding decision is made by the shareholders meeting.
The shareholders approved annual report, financial statements and profit distribution.
The net profit was distributed in the following way: dividends - 14.4 mil rub, surplus fund forming- 939.79 thd rub, 3.42 mil rub were left at the company's disposal.
The BOD was formed of the following persons: M. Grechishnikov, A.Demin, D.Dmitrienko, A.Zlenko, T.Kirillova, A.Mikhailov, K.Mikhlin, V.Olersky, L.Plancheko.
Company's net profit in 2006 made 18.8 mil rub.
North-West Steamship Line OJSC is the larges carrier of Russian water transport. The company is the successor of North-West Inland Navigation Company founded in 1923 and reincorporated as a joint-stock company in 1993. The structure of the company includes CZP OJSC, managing company, and 8 subsidiaries: two sipping companies North-West Fleet and Astrakhan Shipping Company; three ports Passagirsky, Belozersky, Podporozhsky and two shipbuilders Nevsky Shipbuilding plant, and Voznesensky maintenance and exploitation base of the fleet and also Snabservice enterprise.
Company fleet consists of 200 units, 120 of them are cargo ships with 400 thd tons capacity, 32 passenger ships, and 90 river-sea ships that operate day and night.
SZP's authorized capital stock totals 120.296 mil rub and dividend into 9623736 shares with 12.5 rub par value. Prencipal shareholders are RFFI (25.5%), Havensight Shipping Cyprus Limited (6.54%)
