Sakhalin Energy supplied the first batch of LNG

Sakhalin Energy supplied the first batch of liquid natural gas on the facilities of the plant that produces LNG, the company's announcement states according to AK&M.
LNG will be regasified and put into the cooling system.
On April 18, Gazprom closed the deal on purchasing the general interest in Sakhalin 2 for $7.45 bln. It was agreed that Gazprom will repay the deal by money assets. Thus at present Shell holds 27.5% in the project, Mitsui - 12.5%, Mitsubishi - 10%.
Sakhalin Energy remains the operator of the project.
In the framework of Sakhalin-2 project two fields are developed (Piltun-Astokhskoye and Lunskoye).
