Throughput of NCC terminals up 18.6% in 2007 to 1,556,444 TEU
In 2007, throughput of NCC terminals grew by 18.6%, year-on-year, to 1,556,444 TEU, the Group’s press center reports. Container turnover of First Container Terminal totaled 959,032 TEU (+7.9%, year-on-year). In December, the terminal handled 89,360 TEU, or 52,240 units (+8.9%, year-on-year).
In December, turnover of refrigerated containers amounted to 10,788 TEU (+2.6%, year-on-year). Exporttotaled 46,482 TEU, import – 42,878 TEU. In December the port handled 68 vessels with average turnover per vessel making 1,314 TEU.
Cont throughput of NUTEP totaled 141,436 TEU in 2007 (+42.7%, year-on-year). In December the terminal handled 15,377 TEU, or 9,261 units (+27.8%, year-on-year). Export totaled 8,666 TEU, import – 6,711 TEU. Loaded/empty containers ratio made 57% against 43% respectively. Average turnover per vessel is 1,398 TEU.
Container turnover of Ukrtranscontainer in the port of Iljichevsk totaled 455,976 TEU in 2007 (+40.7%, year-on-year). In December the terminal handled 53,105 TEU, or 29,114 units (+39.3%, year-on-year). Export amounted to 26,683 TEU, import – 26,422 TEU. Loaded/empty containers ratio made 57% against 43% respectively.
