Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa shipyard lays keel of new container ship for Russia's Fesco

Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa shipyard laid a keel of a new container ship for Russia's Fesco, FIS reports. Under the work schedule the first container ship of the Polish series of such ships will join the Fesco fleet in summer 2008. The portfolio of contracts with Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa includes 3 container ships for 1.730 thousand TEU and 4 container ships for 3.091 thousand TEU. With all the container ships joining the fleet by the end of 2009 the TEU capacity of the fleet will grow to 50 thousand TEU.
