Russian Railways invested RUR 5.4 bln into reconstruction of railroad to Ust-Luga

In 2007, Russian Railways (RZD OJSC) invested RUR 5.4 billion into reconstruction of railroad to Ust-Luga station, PR Service of Oktyabrskaya Railway reports according to RZD-Partner. The investments were made within the framework of the project “Средства были направлены в рамках проекта "Overall reconstruction of Mga-GatchinaVeimarn-Ivangorod section and railway approaches to the ports at the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland". The company commenced the project implementation in 2007 and to continue the works in 2008.
